Physical and chemical properties：
Colorless or white hexagonal crystalline powder. Odorless and tasteless. Relative density 2.679g/cm3; It has moisture absorption. Soluble in ethyl ether and other solvents, insoluble in alcohol. It's more soluble in acid than in water. It breaks down in lye to form sodium fluoride and silicon dioxide. After scorching (above 300C), it decomposes into sodium fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride. Toxic!
Production usage：Used as a preservative in the wood industry; Hygroscopic agent for acid-resistant cement. Used as an opalescent agent for glass and enamel; Used in the pesticide industry to make insecticides; Natural latex products used as coagulant, electrogalvanizing, nickel, iron ternary coating used as an additive, but also used as a plastic filler.
