Production usage:
Tide and water break down toxic fluoride, nitrogen oxides and ammonia gases. Soluble in water is weak acid, can dissolve glass, slightly soluble in alcohol, easily soluble in cold water, aqueous solution is strongly acidic, can sublimate at higher temperatures, can corrode glass, corrosive to skin, toxic. It can be used as chemical reagent, glass etching agent (involved in hydrofluoric acid), disinfectant and preservative in fermentation industry, solvent from beryllium oxide to beryllium metal and surface treatment agent of silicon steel plate, and also used in the manufacture of ceramics, magnesium alloys, boiler feed water system and steam generation system cleaning and descaling, and acid treatment of oilfield sand, and also used as alkylation, isomerization catalyst components. Used in beryllium smelting, welding electrode, cast steel, wood preservative and so on.
